with our stated mission, in 2003 we released and have being using “websba.com”
the first complete, totally integrated “web based” or as it is now
called “Cloud computing” software
package that included all the functions needed by a small business to: 1) Perform all the Basic accounting and Sales
functions 2) Inventory and Production Management (Bills of Material, Work Orders,
Inventory ordering and Sales Forecasting) 3) Time and Attendance with Payroll,
4) Fixed Asset Management with depreciation and 5) on line Shopping cart
seamlessly integrated to Sales orders
and Inventory functions. With this cloud
computing system authorized employees accountants vendors and customers could access business records hosted in the
websba.com domain, from anywhere at any time since 2003.
This websba.com, cloud computing software has now been
reconfigured to integrate into any domain and to provide the same function it
originally offered under the websba.com domain.
When the system is used
with Microsoft Access, it provides for data base backup and “offsite safe
keeping” (database downloading and uploading).
That is, a user can download the database from the cloud for off-sit
safe keeping and upload it to the cloud when needed. We found no other program
in the internet offering such flexibility. It is ideal for “Brick and Mortar”
business and for Accounting practitioners who endeavor
to expand their business and practice to the cloud.

We have been Building-to-Order, Systems since 1985. Our experience goes back to the IBM1401. We understand
user needs, and provide total solutions. Experience is our competitive

components and support everything we sell. |
In 1986 we started selling our products from
a store front using a manual Accounting System.
We later installed packaged accounting software on our first Intel 286
based PC setup as an in-house network server to automate our invoice and
purchasing processes. In the outset as
systems integrators, we needed a system that would provide for inventory and
production management as bought components and software packages from suppliers
and integrated them to a complete system. We could find no small business
packaged software meeting this basic manufacturing requirement. Over time we
developed our own web based software package websba.com. We included all the basic Accounting and
Production Management functions with an integrated shopping cart, Fixed Asset
Management with depreciation, Time and Attendance with Payroll.
We have been using it since 2003 to effectively and efficiently manage our "brick and mortar" computer integration business as well as our real-estate rental business. Additionally, this websba.com system has been used by accounting practitioners and other small business on a subscription basis. Websba.com has now been reconfigured to install on any private domain and is made available for sale to small business that endeavor to bring the CLOUD into their office.
We
originally integrated websba.com into our own web site simcom.com that is
hosted on our in-house web server and it is connected to the Internet through a
fast web connection. With this setup,
since 2003, our customers have been making purchases by physically visiting our
store in Upland or by using the integrated-on line shopping cart. ALL In house and on line entered data is
seamlessly integrated into one data base.
This data can be accessed securely from anywhere at any time using a web
connected PC or smart phone.
The system
comprises all the functions needed to run a brick and mortar and/or an
on-line small business: 1) Basic accounting functions 2) Inventory and
Production Management (Bills of Material, Work Orders, Inventory ordering and
Sales Forecasting) 3) Time and Attendance with Payroll, 4) Fixed Asset
Management with depreciation and 5) on line Sales ordering with Shopping
cart. The system handles many “user accounts” that can be securely accessed
on the cloud from anywhere at any time with preconfigured privileges (IDs and
Passwords) that are user controllable. When the system is used with Microsoft
Access, it provides for data base backup and off site safe keeping (database
downloading and uploading). That is, a
user can download the database from the cloud for off-sit safe keeping and
upload it to the cloud when needed. We found no other program in the internet
offering such flexibility. It is ideal for “Brick and Mortar” business and
for Accounting practitioners who endeavor to expand their business and
practice to the cloud. In
our premises we use medium size (Intel®
Core™ and Xeon Processors)
Servers with Microsoft Windows server 2008 or newer. One fast connection to the Internet via a
fixed IP address. We host multiple
domains in our servers but have configured our private domain to access the
websba.com software exclusively.
Visitors with valid ID and Password to our Private domain have
exclusive access to the websba.com only. They are totally segregated from any
other area on the server. As stated in the original Press
Release WebSBA.com was developed by small business as a tool to improve
marketing, operational, and accounting effectiveness of small
businesses. It is now offered as a
service to other small businesses with similar goals. It requires no large
investments (no equipment or programs to purchase and maintain). Any business
can subscribe to the service and match the well-touted features offered by
larger companies, at a fraction of the cost. The application resides on our web server and can be accessed by
business subscribers and their customers from anywhere at any time via their
